The Tsukihime Voice Patch Project has Begun!

I'm sure a lot of the Visual Novel/eroge community has heard of Tsukihime, indeed, it was probably the starting point for a lot of you. Over the years, this wonderful Type-Moon title is still considered one of the best of the genre to date. But, one aspect of it may hurt the enjoyment for many people: it never did have any voices made for it. For Type-Moon's other popular title, Fate/Stay Night, voices were able to be imported from another version of the game, but sadly for Tsukihime, these voices never existed in the first place.

Until now.

Myself and some friends of mine have decided to remedy this problem forever. I have gathered a very skilled team of amateur voice actors, and very soon you will all be able to play Tsukihime as it was meant to be played, with full voices, throughout every part of the game! This will be distributed as a patch, meant to be applied to a full installation of the game.

As of now, the projected release date for this patch is sometime in April of 2010. Because it is intended to be used with Mirror Moon's English translation, and because my voice talent is only fluent in English, the voices will all be done in English only. I am sure that many English-speaking fans will be happy to hear this. Apologies to any Japanese fans who may be disappointed. They will reflect exactly what is written in Mirror Moon's translation. All dialogue of all routes will be voiced, including ero-scenes.

That's it for now. If anyone has any questions or comments, you can contact me at
tsukihimevoiced@hotmail.com. As of now, I am not looking for anyone to join the team, but this may change as time goes on.
